Blank screen ONLT SOUND IS CLOCK TICKING
Typewriter font- California 1995 1:00AM

Marcia is sat at his desk smoking a cigarette surrounded by papers and documents the office is dark and messy. The walls are grey and the overall feel of the room is very drab and depressing.
Marcia has bag under his eyes and messy hair sticking up everywhere. He leans back in his chair sighing, he quickly becomes frustrated with the thought of the trial and it's fustrations.
He stands and throws the desks contents to the ground. He stands breathing heavily before running a hand through his hair and falling to the ground to clear up the mess.
He picks up a few documents before a magazine (!!! This magazine MUST have the picture actually leaked but with everything covered by a black bar) with leaked nude photos of them at the beach.
He stands inspecting the magazine running a hand through his hair and a look of sad curiosity while inspecting the magazine cover
(if possible will cut to footage of Marcia crying in court or news coverage of when it came out)
His look turns to a frustrated anger and he chuck the magazine into the overflowing bin which is overflowing with cigarettes and a bottle of vodka.
Rubs his hands together and returns to the task. After sifting through some papers and files he picks up a file marked 'glove' he shakes his head while standing and opening the file which is full of reports about the finding of the glove.
When he turns to the image of the glove we are met with a montage of the glove being presented in court and OJ trying it on in court
Back in his office he scoffs while closing the file and throwing the file onto the desk. He goes behind the desk and produces a half empty bottle of vodka from and glass, while poring a glass he says in a passive aggressive tone
"If the glove doesn't fit you must acquit"
2.
He fills the glass and drinks it in one go, he makes a grimace and pours another glass he takes a small swig before sitting amongst the papers and documents. He sorts through them putting some in the bin and some on the desk when he comes across a documents that looks much different to the rest.
A sombre yet frustrated expression crosses his face as he opens it. It is a document containing divorce and custody documents. He looks at a picture on his desk of him, his ex-wife and the 2 children.
He stands and picks up the picture looking at it with a fondness
FLASHBACK:
Distorted pov shot- his wife and him watching the kids playing. There's an awkwardness between the two when the children are out of sight she scoots across the bench and gives him a dirty look. He runs his hands through his hair
Back in the office
He runs a hand through his hair similarly before placing the picture back on the desk facing downward.
He sits in his chair with the glass of vodka in hand. He picks up a remote and turns the tv on. It is a evening talk show gossip channel that has female guests and host. They turn to the subject of the OJ trial and then onto Marcia's appearance.
They first talk about her hair and make crude comparisons to sheep and just mocking her overall appearance (there will be mocking photos of her on the screen). They then begin discussing her choice of a shorter skirt(change to shorts in this context) at OJ's house tour. Her leaked photos are once again brought up but the tone of their discussion is criticising and sexualising "Marcia" for the choice
They begin talking about Johnny cocrin and the comparison of how they're talking about them shows the hypocrisy and makes "Marcia" mad so he turns the tv off angrily.

not sure how to finish?

Short film analysis 2 Connect

This short film follows a woman on a bus at night in a busy city. The film uses eyeline matches to establish relationships between the man and the woman as the nature of their exchanged looks gives us a sense of a flirtatious relationship. When the elderly woman is shot for the bus seat by another passenger it shows that in society we always go the extreme. There is a shot of the woman we are following and the man from before' s hands, they obey the rule of thirds at first staying on other sides of the screen and not using the middle third. However they invade the central third but are separated by people getting off the bus, this could be representative of society impacts our relationships and comes between thigs we maybe are destined for. The synchronized movements at the end are also a testament to how society conditions people to be the same and just be part of a machine and crushes any individuality.

Ideas for short film

Originally, we were planning on a horror and thriller hybrid, and it was going to be about someone just going about their day, but it was to be revealed at the end they're a ghost with a shot of a train passing by and when it has left there being an empty space where the person previously was. It was also going to have a social realism aspect of suicide, as it was also going to be revealed that they'd committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. Another possible idea would be a film that focuses on basic problem as a film centred around social realism through a metaphorical way. For example dividing everyone into two catagories and bringing in a 'Romeo and Juliet' element to show that the two groups are not as different as a metaphorical way to deal with social issues that are imbedded into our society.  However we strayed from those idea and have decided to do a film about a psycho stalker who kills the subject of their obsession, it again has an element of s...
